guidelines and policies
The school year
Our centers are open year-round, Monday through Friday. See locations for the individual hours of operation for each location.
Our centers will be closed on the following days: New Year's, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
If your child will not attend for whatever reason, you are required to call us before your normal start time. If you fail to call, we will call you to verify your child is not attending.
All belongings must be plainly marked with your child's name. Please only send toys from home on show and tell days. If your child loses something, please check the lost and found.
We are open during inclement weather.
medical and emergency data
We are guided by the rules and standards of the department of Health and Human Services. We must have our medical report form completed by your child's doctor, indicating that your child is in good health and permitted to be in group contact with other children. This is for your child's protection
Children between the ages of 6 weeks through 12 years of age are eligable for enrollment. Some centers have restricted enrollment. All children are accepted regardless of race, color, or religion.
Each child will have a health history and enrollment file on file at the center, to be reviewed annually. If there is any change in information, please notify us immediately so that we have current information. If your child is not feeling well, running a fever, has a rash or discharge from the eye that may be contagious, please keep the child home. If these symptoms arise during the course of the day, you will be contacted to pick up your child. We must be notified of any communicable diseases your child may have contracted.
Our policy is to provide a happy social and learning experience for the children entrusted in our care. In order to do this, however, it may be necessary for the center to discharge a child because of one of the following reasons:
Child has handicaps or other problems preventing the center staff from realistically serving his/her needs.
Parents failing to follow center guidelines, filling out and returning required forms, paying fees or making arrangements to do so, observing the rules of the center relating to arrival and departure of children to and from the center.
